Laia Kay is a popular singer/songwriter on Long Island who plays guitar and harmonica accompaniment to her original music plus covers. Laia’s extensive original song catalogue covers the musical spectrum of rock, pop, folk and country. She has performed two of her songs in an off Broadway production of Mother Moon The Play. Her songs have received air time on college radio stations and favorable internet review.
Laia now pays tribute to the great Carole King whose music inspired Laia to write and perform. Laia sings Ms. King’s most popular solo hits. She also performs the Goffin/King classics that were made famous by other artists of the 60s and 70s. Not only does Laia resemble Carole King, but her range and stage presence give the tribute experience a life of its own.
